Τhe Green Tank participated in a debate which took place on Tuesday 10 September 2019, on the Water Framework Directive and coal. The discussion was co-organized by the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), the WWF European Policy Office (WWF EU) and the Polish environmental organization “Development YES – Open-Pit Mines NO “.
On Thursday July 11, 2019, Ioli Christopoulou participated in a panel discussion organized by the Institute Π2 – Progress in Action titled “Lightning strikes in the summer: Will we stand as spectators?”
The Green Tank participated in a workshop entitled “National Energy and Climate Plans: Assessment and Prospects for 2050” organized by the National Observatory of Athens on Tuesday 11 June 2019.
Talk by Nikos Mantzaris titled “The time has come: Lignite phase-out!” in the context of the open discussion KOSMOSLabs which was entitled “Νo more coal, challenges and opportunities for coal free economy”, on May 6th, 2019.
A presentation by Ioli Christopoulou titled “Biodiversity conservation: The need for protection & main institutional provisions” was delivered during an educational seminar for members of the judicial sector in Crete, on April 10, 2019.
Nikos Mantzaris from the Green Tank participated in the 4th Working Group Meeting of the Coal Regions in Transition platform which took place in Brussels on April 8-9, 2019.

The Green Tank participated in the day conference entitled “ Demonstration of good practices to minimize impacts of wind farms on biodiversity in Greece”, which was jointly organized by the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (CRES) in Greece and Nature Conservation Consultants (NCC) on December 13, 2018.
