Since its foundation, The Green Tank has been actively contributing to initiatives to strengthen Civil Society and its operation in Greece. As part of these actions, we contributed to the consultation of the Action Plan for Civil Society in Greece, drafted by Bodossaki Foundation, submitting our positions and recommendations.
It is worth noting that the Civil Society Action Plan drafted by Bodossaki Foundation is presented at a time when the state has adopted a new institutional framework concerning Civil Society Organizations, which is also a recognition of the role of Civil Society Organizations in Greece’s society and economy. Therefore, the Green Tank submitted recommendations that have been made during the formulation of the new institutional framework and its implementation, considering that they should be taken into account by the final Action Plan as formulated by the Bodossaki Foundation.
