Implementing ogranization: The Green Tank
Objective: The EU Financing for a Sustainable Future aimed to highlight and promote funding opportunities so that the new programming period (2021-2027) could be a catalyst for sustainable regional and rural development for the country’s regions and in particular for Cyclades, Ionian Islands and the Peloponnese. The organization worked on analysis and documentation regarding the possibilities provided by the new regulations that can mobilize the transition of sectors of particular interest, such as agriculture, energy and tourism, towards sustainable development. The project promoted proposals to national and regional authorities and stakeholders and took actions to strengthen the public debate on the need to effectively use the next period’s funds.
