An article by Ioli Christopoulou about the EU Green Deal implementation and the three necessary steps towards the green transition in Greece:
– immediate adoption of the country’s first National Climate Law,
– implementation of projects that will underpin and strengthen the Green Transition, using the unprecedented resources – approximately €70 billion – that the country will have at its disposal for the next few years,
– alignment with the most progressive European forces in the negotiations on the ‘fit for 55’ package for the revision of the energy and climate EU legal framework and also in the adoption of a plan for nature restoration that will shield the country against the climate crisis.
