A comment by Nikos Mantzaris on the necessity of including representatives of the local communities of the lignite regions in the structures of the just transition governance mechanism, in an article by Machi Tratsa. The article analyzes the points of great concern of the bill on just transition and coal phase-out, as highlighted by the relevant actors during the respective hearing of the competent standing Committee of the Greek Parliament. Nikos Mantzaris participated in the hearing for actors representing the Green Tank, submitting comments and recommendations on various aspects of the bill.
