iSea and The Green Tank are organizing the latest round of webinars on “Citizen Participation in Environmental Policy Making”, aimed at informing participants about recent policy developments to address some of the most pressing environmental crises, as well as the available means of intervention and advocacy to involve citizens in policy making.
The series of webinars includes:
20 February, 16:00-18:00

22 February, 16:00-18:00
“Citizen participation in environmental policy making – Recent developments in addressing biodiversity loss”
27 February, 16:00-18:00
“Citizen participation in environmental policy making – Tools for citizen intervention and advocacy”
The seminar presenters will be Anastasia Charitou, iSea, and Ioli Christopoulou, The Green Tank.

As part of the “Learn-Participate-Protect the Environment” project, seminars are held to empower citizens, especially young people, students and voluntary groups, in order to enhance their participation in public debates and decision-making on pressing environmental issues. The project focuses on three thematic areas: the climate crisis, biodiversity loss and plastic pollution.
