Ioanna Theodosiou participated in the workshop entitled “The environmental, health and economic impacts of fossil gas expansion in Korinthos in the context of the climate crisis”, which took place on 25 November at the Korinthos Chamber of Commerce.
The Green Tank policy associate presented energy communities as a counterweight to gas during a panel on the importance of clean energy solutions. She stressed the importance of energy communities in engaging citizens in the energy transition and shielding them from fossil fuel price fluctuations, ultimately ensuring energy democracy.
The workshop was organized by the Greek office of Greenpeace and the Institute for European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP).
