The study and utilization of data for the improvement of society and the economy, the fair distribution of resources, as well as the protection of the environment drive Ioanna’ s professional and academic career.
Ioanna has graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Aristotle University Thessaloniki, specializing in the field of Energy.
During her studies and internship at the University of Denmark (DTU) and CERTH, she worked on the analysis and visualization of domestic energy consumption, smart grids and district heating systems.
In her professional career she has been working on the development of software for demand forecasting, team management as well as technical support and automation of processes.
She participates in initiatives and organizations with social and environmental impact, focused on climate change, and the protection and development of the ecosystem at local level.
