A new Partnership Agreement and a Recovery Plan without consultation?

Opinion piece by Ioli Christopoulou emphasizing the value of open dialogue and participatory consultations before the planning of Greece’s new Partnership Agreement 2021-2027 and the use of resources from the EU Recovery Fund are finalized.

The need to ensure a multi-level governance process has become even more pressing given the pandemic and its consequences. Such a process can ensure that all EU financing opportunities that set the environmental dimension at the heart of the economic recovery are seized; which in turn is critical for a successful transition to a sustainable future.
