Webinars: Plastic Pollution – Biodiversity – Climate Change

iSea and The Green Tank continue their actions under the “Learn – Participate – Protect” project that aims to empower citizens and voluntary groups to enhance their participation in public debates and decision-making on pressing environmental issues.

The project focuses on three topics: climate crisis, biodiversity loss and plastic pollution. The introductory webinars are organized to provide information on the scope of each of these three environmental topics.

The second series of the project’s activities (2022-2023) begins with the webinar on plastic pollution, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. The webinar will be delivered by Anastasia Charitou. co-ordinator of the “Human and Aquatic Ecosystem” department of iSea.

The project “Learn-Participate-Protect the environment” is operated by iSea and implemented in partnership with the Green Tank, under the Active Citizens Fund programme. It includes two cycles of informational and training activities consisting of webinars and live webinars during the academic years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
