Participation of Ioli Christopoulou in the webinar titled “The new EU 2030 Biodiversity, how does it concern us?”.
The webinar was organized by the working group of the KOSMOS citizens movement on the Sustainable Development Goal 2 “Zero Hunger” as part of the annual cycle of monthly informative discussions on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. The webinar was held on October 29, 2020.
During her remarks, Ioli Christopoulou provided an overview of the implementation of the Biodiversity Strategy in Greece and the prospects for the future. In particular, she presented the main results of the assessment of the implementation of the National Strategy for Biodiversity and the first 5-year action plan completed by the Green Tank in the framework of the project “Priority to nature”.
In addition to members of the KOSMOS working group on SDG 2, other invited speakers included MEP Petros Kokkalis, Alexandra Pappa (MEDINA), Stavroula Katsogianni (Panhellenic Association of Geotechnical Professionals & Green Enterprises), Panagiotis Skoteidakis, (From A to Beee) and Christos Stamatis (Stevia Hellas Coop).
